The Silent Scream That Dwells Within

The scream 
            beneath
                     the skin
Buried so deep
                     within
The more I try to peel
                         my skin,
to carve my flesh,
             my blood to clean
The more
        my cells
             they scream
                      within.

No sound, just pain. 
            I cry in vain.
